Cathy is President-Elect of the Jacksonville-Oceanside Rotary. Since joining Rotary in 1999, she has served as a member of the Board and Secretary. But her main passion of being a Rotarian has been focused on community service and she has served as chair of this committee several times over the last 20 years – and as a worker-bee whenever there is an opportunity to serve.
Cathy earned a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a MBA from the University of South Florida. She holds certifications as a licensed CFP, Certified Business Continuity Professional, and Certified Exit Planning Advisor. Cathy taught classes at the UNF Coggin College of Business, including topics on personal financial planning and entrepreneurial marketing. She also led a study abroad group of students to Alicante, Spain to study the impact of entrepreneurship in the country. Cathy is graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville class of 2002. She lives in Atlantic Beach with her husband and dogs for the last 27 years in the only house they ever owned. And there is definitely no place like home.
