Ways to Partner with Duval County Public Schools/Information on various DCPS initiatives

Brandon Mack is a community engagement professional with over twelve years of experience in building and leveraging relationships with various community stakeholder groups. 

He possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC, and a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from the University of North Florida.  He previously served as the Minority Volunteer Recruiter for the Guardian ad Litem program which utilizes community volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused, abandoned, and neglected children and the Program Coordinator for One Church One Child of Florida where he recruited prospective foster and adoptive parents for children in foster care. 

Currently, Brandon serves as the Director of Partnerships and Community Outreach for Duval County Public Schools  where he supervises the district’s community engagement efforts, community partnerships, volunteer management, and special projects for all of our local schools as well as the district.  Much of his time is spent developing and managing relationships with faith-based, business, and other community partners, leveraging those relationships to support and expand services to students, staff, and schools.  Brandon also serves as the Director of the Guide Right Program for the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, the fraternity’s national service program for mentoring and preparing our next generation of leaders.  He is a board member of the Arlington Council of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, where he is both the Program Chair and Education Committee Chair, the Gamma Beta Boule’ Foundation, and the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation along with being involved in several other organizations. 

He is also a graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2021 and has earned the recognition of DCPS District Employee of the Year, Top 20 Under 40 for the Jacksonville Blackpages, the Community Pearl Award from the Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and was recently honored as Community Hero by the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.  Brandon takes pride in serving his community and doing his part to ensure that local students have access to the resources and opportunities necessary to be successful.
